Daniel Krivens – Founder, Krivens Design
Daniel Krivens is a award winning designer, working in San Francisco and Manhattan. He is the founder and Creative Director of Krivens Partners.
Over the past 25 years, Daniel Krivens has worked with worked with leading businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area to redefine their workplace hospitality brand experiences. His last architectural project won an AIA award and the LEED building of the year for 2015. Krivens Partners design studio launch was followed by a series of awards in 2015 including First Place for Functional Sculpture at the Sausalito Art Festival, a finalist in INC Magazine's Best in Class and Best in Show at BKLYN Designs in 2016. He recently was solicited by Quartz Magazine to share his new thinking about workplace design in a widely cited article titled "The case for designing offices more like bars”.
Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Daniel Krivens earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the California College of the Arts in 1994. Immediately after school he worked for 8 Inc for 2 years then worked on the first Pixar campus and Hospitality projects throughout Napa and Sonoma with Backen Gillam Architects. Daniel then began helping SF/Bay-Area companies define their workplace experiences as the Senior Designer at NicholsBooth Architects. Daniel initiated his own practice to take a deeper dive into solutions driven by our natural wiring.
